The SpeedStream 4200 Modem / Router is only recommended as a Modem Only (Bridged) when it comes to VoIP. There are issues because the device implements a Symmetric NAT that does not support VoIP properly.
If you have a good Router with QoS then this is a reliable modem that performs well on both ADSL and ADSL2+. Note that the SS4200 does not support Annex M.
