Older Thomson SpeedTouch Modems are only recommended as a Modem Only (Bridged) when it comes to VoIP. There are issues because the device implements a Symmetric NAT that does not support VoIP properly.
However, there are some great bargins available on eBay and you can pickup second hand ones for a bargin price.
